Welcome to www.dawnventures.ch, operated by Dawn Ventures GmbH (“we” / “us”). Our website is designed to provide insight into our company-building work and give you a way to get in touch.
Visiting this site means some data about you may be collected—either because you contacted us, or because your browser did what browsers do: left a footprint. We take the protection of that data seriously. This notice explains how and why we process it.
This notice covers how we handle personal data that we collect through your use of this website. If you follow links to other services or platforms (like LinkedIn or tools we mention), please check their policies directly.
We process data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
For visitors from the EU or EEA: Switzerland and the EU mutually recognize each other’s data protection laws as equivalent. In some cases, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply—especially in cross-border interactions.
If you reach out to us—by email, by booking a call through our scheduling page, or any other way—we’ll process and store the data you share, including your name, contact details, and your message. If you book a call, the details you enter are processed by HubSpot (see Section G). We keep this data only as long as necessary:

Please remember: sending data over the internet is not always secure. If you’re sharing sensitive information, feel free to use encrypted tools or reach out for alternatives.
If you subscribe to The 1-1-1, we collect your first name, last name and email address to send it to you every second Thursday and to invite you to our events from time to time. We rely on your consent, which you give by signing up. We manage sign-ups and send the newsletter with HubSpot, using its European data centre. HubSpot processes this data on our behalf and may record whether an email was opened or a link clicked.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email, or by writing to hello@dawnventures.ch.
As with most websites, visiting dawnventures.ch automatically creates server log data. This includes:
→ your IP address
→ browser type and version
→ language and operating system
→ referring site (like LinkedIn)
→ the pages you visited
→ when we process this data to ensure the site functions smoothly and securely.
We don’t use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. We don’t run ads, trackers, or analytics tools that follow you around the internet, and our fonts are hosted on our own site rather than loaded from an external provider. If you follow a link to another service—for example our HubSpot booking page, LinkedIn or Instagram—that service may set its own cookies, and its policies apply there.
a) LinkedIn — We link to our company LinkedIn page. If you click through, you’re leaving our website and entering LinkedIn’s environment. Their terms and privacy policy apply there.
b) Instagram — We also link to our Instagram profile. As with LinkedIn, clicking through takes you to Instagram, which is operated by Meta Platforms. Their data policies apply once you’re on their site.
c) HubSpot — We use HubSpot for our newsletter, for booking calls and for the web version of each issue of The 1-1-1. If you use these, you’re interacting with HubSpot’s services, which process your data on our behalf and may set their own cookies. HubSpot’s privacy policy applies there.

We host our site on Webflow (https://webflow.com), a secure platform. As our hosting provider, Webflow’s servers process the technical data described in Section E to deliver the site to you. Some of our service providers, including Webflow and HubSpot, may process data outside Switzerland, for example in the USA. In that case we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
We use HTTPS with standard encryption to secure the site. Internally, access to any personal data is limited and governed by clear security rules.
If you’re in the EU or EEA and we process your data, you’re entitled to:
→ access your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
→ request correction (Art. 16 GDPR)
→ request deletion (Art. 17 GDPR)
→ request processing restrictions (Art. 18 GDPR)
→ object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
→ data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
We process data with your consent (for example when you subscribe to our newsletter), to respond to your enquiry, or based on a legitimate interest—like running our services securely.
If the Swiss FADP applies to you, you have comparable rights, including access to, correction and deletion of your data. Write to us at hello@dawnventures.ch and we’ll respond.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU/EEA, with your local data protection authority.
